On the Lookout: Teen robbed on South Geddes Street

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Police are On the Lookout for suspects in an armed robbery in Syracuse Sunday evening. The victim reported the incident when he arrived at St. Joseph’s Hospital for treatment for a non-life threatening cut on his head. 

The 19-year-old victim told police he was walking on the 1600 block of South Geddes Street around 7:25 p.m. when two young men approached him.

Both suspects were armed with knives and demanded money. While the victim struggled with one suspect, the other cut him with the knife and stole about $40. The suspects then ran away.

The suspects are described as two light-skinned black males in their late teens. If you have information about the robbery, call the Syracuse Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 442-5222.
