One man injured in stabbing in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are On the Lookout for a suspect they say was involved in a stabbing at 12:15 a.m. Saturday.

Police say Keith Vumbaco was stabbed while he was at the Sunoco gas station on Erie Boulevard East.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing black pants and a brown coat.  He was last seen running north on Teall Avenue.

Vumbaco was taken to Upstate University Hospital and is currently in stable condition.

Anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
