Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A Syracuse man who will be familiar to many On the Lookout viewers is back in custody after police received a tip from someone who saw the segment on NewsChannel 9.
Frank Artis, 20, has been featured as NewsChannel 9’s Fugitive of the Week twice, most recently in July.
A month before
flipping a stolen car in the 600 block of South Geddes Street in October 2011, police say Artis ripped off the Pawn King on West Genesee Street
by stealing the store’s money bag.
Previously, he led police on a lengthy foot chase on March 21 before police caught up with him to make the arrest.
