Syracuse (WSRY-TV) -- Syracuse Police are investigating an armed robbery at a liquor store in the city's Westcott neighborhood.
The robbery happened just before 9 p.m. on Monday at Westcott Liquors, located at 111 Harvard Place, just off Westcott Street, police said.
Investigators say the suspect entered the store armed with a small handgun and demanded money.
The suspect has been described as a black man, about 6’2” tall and 220 pounds. He was wearing a black mask and black jacket and was last seen headed eastbound on Harvard Place with another man wearing a yellow jacket.
The suspect did get away with some cash, police said.
