Police: Tires slashed on 25 vehicles in Syracuse

SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) -  Syracuse Police are looking for who slashed tires on 25 vehicles on the city's Eastside.

Police say the vehicles were parked on the street and in private driveways.

All of the tires were stabbed with a knife.  Police said some vehicles had one tire slashed while others had up to all four cut.

The incidents happened between 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Friday night.

The vehicles were damaged on the following streets:

  • 100 and 200 blocks, Fenway Drive
  • 500 and 600 blocks, Dakin Street
  • 500 block, Genesee Park Drive
  • 2600 block, East Genesee Street
  • 100 block, Ferris Avenue
Some of the victims told police they heard the air being released from the tires but no one saw any suspects.
