Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police have arrested two men in connection with burglaries at several businesses last month.
Adrian Huddleston, 25 of Hope Ave. and Deshawn Stroud, 21 of Hayes Ave. are both suspects in the burglaries that took place on March 17 and 28, according to police.
Syracuse Police put the community On The Lookout for suspects,
releasing surveillance video of one burglary. Police said the arrests were made thanks to tips from people who saw that video.
Both men are charged with attempted burglary and criminal mischief in connection with an attempted burglary on March 28 at World Gold Fashion on N. Geddes St.
They are charged with burglary and petit larceny in connection with a burglary at Old Man’s Garage on Valley Drive on March 17.
Police said both Huddleston and Stroud have been identified as suspects in the following burglaries which happened overnight on March 28:
- Guy’s Automotive Service, Hiawatha Blvd. E.
- New Millennium Auto Broker, Hiawatha Blvd. E.
- Pawn King, W.Genesee St
- Choppers Car Care, Burnet Ave.
- Pawn King, Shop City Plaza
- Jewelry on James, James St.
Charges on those six burglaries are pending, police said.
The owner of Jewelry on James
offered a reward to help find the suspects after his store was burglarized.
Both suspects were arraigned in Syracuse City Court and are being held in the Onondaga County Justice Center.
Police say a third suspect was involved in several of the burglaries, but has not been located.
