Police investigate Shop City stabbing
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred in the Shop City parking lot Friday night.
According to police, the incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the area of a nearby McDonalds.
When they arrived at the scene, police found a 16-year-old boy who had sustained stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital. Police do not believe his injuries are life threatening.
The victim told police that he was stabbed during a fight between two groups of males.
