You cant count on the police for anything more then giving you a traffic ticket.. I'm sorry but they are not worth the tax money we pay them...

Why is everything Obama's fault? There wasn't this much complaining when Bush was in office and things headed south in both of his terms!

you can blame the economy and blame obama and the police, but this guy is trash. we are surrounded by trash. all you can do is lock your stuff up and make it difficult for the trash to get your stuff. if they do get your stuff just make sure it has little value. if you are going to walk your dogs, take a $20,if your purse gets stolen you are only out a bag and a $20. i commend the police for their investigation and thank god for the internet and craigs list. a lot of people have been bashing craigs list lately. but this is a breeding ground for trash. police know this and the trash is going to the dump this time. the investigating officers are protecting and serving and you should thank your lucky stars they care. just because they did not witness the crime, they do an excelent job investigating all crimes. if only they had our support. all to often people that witness crimes are to stupid to come forward because of their mentality. if they don't get our support they are on their own. one night at 3 am i witnessed a pair of hodlums breaking into cars and i called the police and they questioned me for a hour, even questioning my identity. but after that, thgey drove away and 10 minutes later they return with the suspects in custody and asked me to identify them. we had to wake neighbors up to confirm stolen property and it was irratating, but with our help these crimes can be solved. lets clean up the trash. help your neighbors.

I remember the saying how some would take anything that wasn't bolted down - now days they'll steal the stuff to break the bolts and whats attached

My mom & aunt's purses got stolen out of the back of my mom blazer that has tinted windows. They were at the inner harbor the other day walking their dogs when the theft happened. There was no break in, someone obviously had a slim jim and opened the door, then locked it when they were done. When my mom got back to her car, she unlocked the doors and they noticed the coats, that had been over the purses, were thrown over the back seat. When they called 911, they were told to call another number, leave a message on the answering machine and someone would get back to them on Monday when they picked up the messages. As of today...they still haven't got a call back! What ever happened to PROTECT & SERVE by your police force? You have to be careful everywhere!

It is the economy and this is only the beginning of this. It is getting to be everyone for himself and that sucks as I have worked very hard for aall I have and I have to worry about some young LAZY punk stealing it because they are too LAZY to work for it.
