Sheriff’s Deputies looking for suspect in Mattydale Byrne Dairy robbery

Mattydale (WSYR-TV) – Onondaga County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating a robbery at knifepoint that was reported at a Byrne Dairy location in Mattydale late Wednesday night.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a man wearing a black ski mask entered the store with a knife and demanded money. He then left the store and fled on a BMX-style bicycle, crossing Brewerton Road and riding east.

The clerk was not injured during the incident at 2307 Brewerton Rd. Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the incident around 11:30 p.m.

Sheriff’s Deputies said the suspect was described as a Hispanic male with a black ski mask, black clothing, black gloves, and carrying a black and white drawstring bag.
