Sterling (WSYR-TV) – The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the public’s help in its investigation into the theft of several items from a local cookie store.
According to the Sheriff’s Office a person or people broke into Fly by Night Cookie Company on Fancher Avenue in the town of Sterling sometime between 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30 and 8 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 1.
They say a cash register, a telephone, and a tip jar were all stolen. Small items from within the shop were also found strewn across the lawn.
