SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting on the city's North Side.
It happened Saturday at 12:20 a.m. near the intersection of East Division Street and Gebhardt Avenue.
The victim, a 24-year-old man, walked into Saint Joseph's Hospital with gunshot wounds to his left arm and left side.
His injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Police said the victim was not cooperative and was not able to provide any suspect information.
However, shortly before Newman walked into the hospital, police received a report of shots being fired in the area of East Division Street.
Witnesses told police the suspect is a black male in his twenties. He was last seen wearing a red and white striped shirt while running north on North Salina Street.
