Syracuse Police investigate early Saturday morning shooting on city's north side
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Syracuse Police are looking into the circumstances that led to a 30-year-old man walking into Upstate University Hospital with a gunshot wound to his calf.
It happened just after 12:15 a.m. Saturday.
Police said Marquice Adams told them he was leaving a store at either Burnet Avenue and North Beech Street or a store at Hawley Avenue and North Crouse Avenue, when he was shot from behind.
Police checked out both locations and did not find any evidence of a shooting.
