Syracuse Police investigating overnight shooting
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that occurred just before midnight.
Police say the shooting occurred in the area of Oakwood Avenue and East Castle Street late Thursday night.
Two victims were shot during the incident. 20-year-old Karrell Glover of Syracuse was shot in the back and 21-year-old David Kirby of Syracuse was shot in the eye.
The victims told police that they were driving along the 500 block of Oakwood Avenue when multiple shots were fired at their car.
Glover was able to drive to Upstate University Hospital, according to the police. They added that the victims were unable to provide information regarding any suspects.
Police say their injuries are not life-threatening.
