Syracuse Police looking for suspect in attempted Wolf Street robbery

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are looking for a man who tried to rob a gas station on Wolf Street Monday night.

According to police, a white male in his mid 20s entered a Sunoco gas station at 800 Wolf St. around 8 p.m.

The suspect handed a clerk a note in which he demanded money, implying that he had a weapon.

The clerk called 911, however, and the suspect ran away.

He was last seen running south on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The suspect was described as 5-foot-9, 150 pounds with brown hair and a goatee.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
