Syracuse shooting victim expected to survive
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A man who wasn't expected to make it after being shot multiple times is now expected to survive, according to police.
Police say 34-year-old Tristian James was shot multiple times as he stood on a sidewalk in the 1600 block of West Onondaga Street on Monday.
Witnesses told police that an older model four door vehicle sped away from the scene after the shooting.

Police: Victim in ‘extremely critical condition’ after shooting

Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly before midnight in front of a residence at 1633 West Onondaga St.
Police say the victim – who they have not identified – was shot several times and was taken to Upstate University Hospital in extremely critical condition.
Around 8 a.m., police said the victim was undergoing emergency surgery.
Witnesses told police that an older model four-door vehicle sped away from the scene.
