Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – NewsChannel 9 has reported on Cardholder Services
in the past, but the scam is still in circulation.
If you receive a call from Cardholder Services promising a lower interest rate and requesting information on your credit card, feel free to obtain as much information as you can, but you should call the Attorney General’s office after you hang up.
Anyone who has a good credit history can call their card provider or shop for another company.
You should never give away information on your credit card. If there’s something you want to know The Real Deal about, call the Your Stories team at (315) 446-9900 or email YourStories@9wsyr.com.
