cocopuffs you are on the right track i think and i know others also think it is the anti virus software people that are out there doing these viruses. look how fast there is a update to catch these viruses and you have got to know that the fix was done before the virus was sent out.

Bville Mike- it's called job security. If there weren't viruses there wouldn't be a need for programs detecting spyware, antivirus, firewalls etc...

If these virus builders put as much thought and effort into real projects they all could be making a lot more money than what they get sitting in a dark room thinking of how to screw over the rest of the world.

Let's not forget the "Wal*Mart" virus! of course the media isn't saying much about this because of the $$$$ that wally world spends in ads, but there are people out there Buying a computer at Wal Mart, loading it with viruses and or spyware then sealing the computer and box just as it was then returning it. They (Wal*Mart) claims they return all computer returns to the companies, but the DON'T. I bought a computer there, opened it then heard about this virus thing so i returned it and low and behold it was up for sale again! I know this because i wrote: "RETURN" on the bottom of the box and sure enough, it was up for sale again....BEWARE!
