Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A group of taxpayers in the Dryden School District may notice an error on their school tax bills as the bills do not account for savings from the STAR tax exemption.
The Dryden School District says that 342 Cortland County households in the Dryden School District are affected by the error.
Those families will need to wait only a few days to receive a corrected tax bill.
The district says those will go out in the mail before the end of Wednesday.
Dryden School District taxpayers in Tioga and Tompkins County are not impacted by this error.
