According to Best Buy, the advertised price of $99 for the tablet was a mistake.
The company says the price was posted on its website for a short period of time and orders placed during that time period have been canceled.
Under the "
Conditions of Use" on Best Buy's website, the company states the following:
Errors will be corrected where discovered, and Best Buy reserves the right to revoke any stated offer and to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions including after an order has been submitted and whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged.
Best Buy will not be honoring the lower price for customers who were able to order the HTC flyer tablet at $99.
