Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Starting Sunday, home delivery for The Post-Standard will be cut from seven days a week to three.
The mostly widely circulated newspaper in Central New York will arrive on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week.
There will also be access to an e-Post Standard, a page-by-page replica of the paper delivered digitally.
The cost of the subscription will go from $5.90 per week to $4.50 – which means that while the Sunday paper’s cost will hold steady at $2, the cost of the Tuesday and Thursday editions will climb to $1.25.
The company says the physical newspapers will be larger and more comprehensive than usual and the price hike will help cover the higher cost of receiving the newspaper at home.
