Baby aspirin recall ordered after pharmaceutical mix-up
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A nationwide baby aspirin recall is underway after a CVS pharmacist discovered a bottle of baby aspirin filled with acetaminophen pills.
Advance Pharmaceutical has since ordered for the removal of more than 16,000 bottles of pills off store shelves.
The affected bottles were labeled to contain 81-milligram aspirin pills.
The mix-up could lead to liver failure in patients.
