Syracuse (CNN/WSYR-TV) – General Motors is recalling nearly 194,000 SUVs because of a fire danger.
GM says water can enter an electronic module in the door, causing it to short circuit and catch on fire.
The recall includes:
- 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL SUVs
- 2006 and 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, Saab 97X and Isuzu Ascender SUVs
- Some 2005 Saab 97XS models
Owners will be notified to bring their vehicles into an authorized GM dealer for repair.
