Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – The Toyota Motor Corporation has announced two separate recalls.
The first affects 133,000 Toyota Highlander Hybrids from 2006 to 2010 and 2006 to 2008 Lexus RX 400H Hybrids.
The vehicles are being recalled because they may overheat, causing the car's warning lights to activate and in rare cases, the hybrid system could shut down and stop the vehicle.
The second recall affects more than 100,000 Lexus IS 350s, 350 Cs and GS 350s.
Those vehicles are being recalled because of bolts that hold a timing control device may come loose, causing the cars to stop.
If you drive one of these vehicles, you will be notified by your dealer.
