Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Fairgoers showed their appreciation for New York dairy farmers on Monday.
Milk, cheese and ice cream are a part of our daily and ordinary routine but – on Monday – it was the main attraction at the State Fair.
The Fair features a cow birthing exhibition and the rainbow milk bar, as well as the butter sculpture.
After all the years the State Fair has been running, the rainbow bar milk still only costs 25 cents.
Despite the inexpensive price, Agriculture Commissioner Darrel Aubertine says milk brings $3 billion in revenue to New York State every year.
