Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- We’re in the home stretch for two longstanding projects that have affected your commute for months on end and you want to know how much longer each project will take.

Starting just outside the doors of NewsChannel 9 in East Syracuse, the last significant remaining work on the Bridge Street project involves activating the signal from southbound Bridge Street to the on-ramp to westbound 690. National Grid needs to do some work before the signal mast arm pole can be installed, so only one lane of the ramp is available – all other lanes are open.

And in Phoenix, where commuters have long been detoured by a culvert replacement project, the DOT says in the past few days Route 264 was paved and the bridge rail installed. The approach guide rail and the transitions to the bridge rail are still remaining and should be done early next week. The road will reopen after the rail is installed.
