Camillus (WSYR-TV) – The developers behind the Township 5 project in Camillus say they are hoping to break ground by late summer or early fall, but the phase of the project that includes the region’s first Costco may not be finished until next summer. Initially, they hoped to have the much-anticipated store open by November 2013
They now say there may still be some elements delaying the project.
The developers say the tenants they had originally signed are still on board with the project.
In addition to the Costco store, the center will have several national chain restaurants, a bowling alley, and an apartment complex featuring nearly 100 units.
Developers say the center will generate 500 to 600 permanent jobs, along with 400 to 500 construction jobs.
