Fayetteville (WSYR-TV) – People eager to prepare for doomsday will soon have a destination store in Syracuse’s eastern suburbs.

Fayetteville Square will soon be home to “Survival Adventure to Apocalypse.”

Store owner Calypso Ford was taught to prepare for the worst during her 12-year stint in the US Navy.

Now she hopes to prepare others.

The emergency preparedness store’s products will include medical supplies and outdoor cooking kits, as well as collapsible water storage containers and waterproof paper.

Superstorm Sandy delayed the arrival of additional prep products.

The store is now poised to open for business within the next two weeks.
