Lights circling the sky in Cicero: Your Stories

Cicero (WSYR-TV) -- Many of you have called and emailed our newsroom asking what the lights are circling the night sky in Cicero.

We’ve learned it’s a spotlight coming from the McDonald's on Route 31. The company tells us they recently did major renovations to the interior and exterior to give the eatery a more modern feel. The play land has also been updated. The spotlight is being used to try and attract people to the newly renovated McDonald's. The company also says the use of the spotlight is only temporary and they have the necessary permits to operate it.
