Oswego County (WSYR-TV) -- Tom Frawley recently heard about signs advertising a public hearing for road improvements in Oswego County and wants to know what it’s all about.
We’re told this is part of a State Department of Transportation project. A meeting was held earlier this month to get public input on the safety upgrades at three intersections in the county.
They include 481 at Churchill Road and County Route 57 in Scriba, where they’re looking to add left turn lanes.
In Volney, they’re considering ways to re-align County Route 45 where it meets 481.
The State DOT will take the input from this month’s meeting before making a final decision by the end of the year. Work could start in 2014.
