Oswego (WSYR-TV) -- A closed off parking garage at Midtown Plaza on East Second Street and Route 104 in Oswego has been blocked off for several months. Oswego Mayor Tom Gillen says the closure was necessary because there were concerns about safety of the upper deck.
The garage will soon be sold to the Sutton Companies, out of Syracuse, which is the same firm that recently purchased the buildings in the plaza.
The plan is to redesign the space to include parking and living quarters. The company will also redevelop the retail portion of the space.
