Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Many Time Warner customers have noticed a sudden change to their network lineups.

Several popular channels are no longer available and Central New Yorkers are wondering why.

The company says it notified customers in September that, in mid-October, Time Warner Cable would move them to what it calls a higher-quality, digital-only experience.

They say 80 percent of Time Warner’s customers who subscribe to digital cable won’t notice a difference.

Those who do not subscribe to digital cable will no longer have access to those channels being offered exclusively through a digital format.

The list includes:
  • CMT
  • C-SPAN
  • EWTN
  • The Golf Channel
  • Lifetime Movie Network
  • OWN
  • Tru-TV
To continue receiving these channels digitally, customers will need either a cable box, a digital adapter, or a cable card.
