Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – NewsChannel 9 viewer Michelle uses taxis to move around the city of Syracuse and one of the stands she uses most often has been moved.
She used to flag down taxis near a stand outside the old Grand Central Café, but the stand has now moved and Michelle wants to know where it is.
Michelle now has two choices of taxi stands: the first is southbound on Salina Street at the corner of West Onondaga; the second is on Warren Street along Billings Park and across from the old Central Tech building.
Centro’s new transportation hub necessitated the move. The city now says it is working to increase the visibility of the new stands.
