Geddes (WSYR-TV) – Some viewers have called or emailed NewsChannel 9 wondering what happens with the 800 pounds of unsalted butter that goes into the State Fair’s popular attraction.
The answer is, it becomes fuel. Each year, the butter is turned into biofuel that is used as fuel for a transport used to help SUNY ESF students get around campus and on field trips.
