Oswego (WSYR-TV) – Residents driving along Route 481 in Oswego County may be wondering about a large barn-like structure.
The landowner has told NewsChannel 9 that she is building a Clydesdale horse-breeding facility.
The private barn is 80 percent complete and it’s located on Hilltop Road in the town of Schroeppel.
The 18,000-square-foot facility contains stables, a training area, and a lounge and living area for riders.
The owner plans to breed the horses, raise them, and train them until they are ready to be sold.
The facility will be called K-W Clydes at Riverside Ranch and is expected to open in August.
