What’s in store on the restaurant scene around Central New York?  One new one on schedule for a fall opening and one older one for sale. Dan Cummings has the latest Your Stories Q&A.

The for sale sign is now hanging on a waterfront eatery that never got traction in the Port City.

Coleman’s Irish pub in Oswego closed in February of 2008.  The bottom line: just wasn't big enough. At the time, Peter Coleman had hopes of remodeling the second floor for banquets.    Now Coleman confirms he'd like to sell.  But if he can't get the right price, he may yet do renovations, and try to find someone to run it.  Coleman says he's busy enough with his Tipperary Hill businesses in Syracuse.

You've also asked us about the site of the former Pensabenes on Milton Avenue in Camillus.  There will be a new restaurant there, and it's called coppertop.  The same folks who run the Coppertop Tavern and restaurant in North Syracuse tell us that if construction schedules hold up, the Milton Avenue Coppertop should be open sometime in November.
