Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - Question
: Katherine, a full-time student at Onondaga Community College, wants to know why she is charged $95 per semester for a recreation and wellness fee? Answer
: OCC says the fee covers a wide range of campus-based student services and programs that improve the quality of campus life, promote a healthy lifestyle and enhance student well being.
Those include campus transit, Centro services, OCC's fitness center, intramurals and athletics, recreation programs and activities.
It also includes the campus smart card student I.D. system.
Access to the YMCA is only a small part of what the fee is for.
