Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Question: Why do the players on the Syracuse University men’s basketball team all wear different colored sneakers?
According to Syracuse University sports information staffer Sue Edson, the players are allowed to choose from a couple of different basketball shoes in the Nike line.
Nike, of course, is the official clothier of the Orange basketball team.
The players say they wear whichever shoes they prefer.
“We wear the shoes that are the most comfortable on our feet,” senior guard Brandon Triche said in a Tweet.
