Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – A NewsChannel 9 viewer recently called with concerns about a Dunkin' Donuts gift card he received. According to viewer Henry Landers, every time he tries to use the card, staff at the donut shop tell him “the system is down” and the card can’t be accepted.
The rejection has happened at two locations: One on Route 11 in Brewerton and also on Route 31 in Cicero.
The managers at both locations say Landers’ timing was merely bad. They both say Internet issues around the holiday caused some problems in processing the cards. The work in the area that caused the outage is complete. All gift cards should work now in both locations.
