We had plenty of great photos to choose from when putting together the 2012 Storm Team Weather Calendar.  A big thank you goes out to the users of 9wsyr.com in helping us narrow things down to the final 12.  We think you'll agree that a great collection of photos from around central New York, depicting all of nature's beauty, can be found in the calendar.  We can't wait to get it all together and provide it for you later this Summer at the New York State Fair.  Enjoy!

January:

This is a photo I shot this morning in our backyard after the snow storm dropped over a foot of snow on us here in Palermo. Last night a pick up hit a utility pole and we lost power for hours, it was nice to wake up to this incredible view. I couldn't get it to upload to the picture of the day, so I decided to email it. Hope you enjoy it!
Thank You,
Chris Foster

We took a day trip on Monday to the Finger Lakes area and stopped to see Ithaca Falls...was a bit disappointed with the cloudy and rainy conditions..until this appeared. This photo made the whole day worthwhile. Talk about a "Kodak" moment!
