(WSYR-TV, Syracuse) A bubble of high pressure sliding east over us during the next couple of days will bring sunshine and pleasant temperatures.  Since this air is from Canada, it will be a little cooler (highs Thursday will be near 80...just a bit below where we should be this time of year) and dewpoints will be lower.  This will make it feel very nice around here.  That high pressure area will remain over us Friday, and by and large, will keep us dry through the weekend.  We are still keeping an eye on some upper level energy, which could trigger an isolated shower east and south of central New York later Friday.

Eventually, with the high sliding to our east, and the jet stream lifting back to the north, we'll see temperatures and humidity levels on the rise again later in the weekend.
