Thomas Visalli, Jr.
The 2011 Valedictorian of Vernon Verona Sherrill High School with a weighted grade point average of 104.75 is Thomas Visalli Jr., son of Thomas and Margaret Visalli of Oneida. Thomas will attend either Clarkson or RIT in the fall. People involved in education are fortunate to have a student who will leave a lasting impression on them, fortunately for VVS, Thomas Visalli is one of those students. Thomas is an exceptional student and has developed into a strong leader in our school community. He has high quality character, great values and a strong belief that education is the pathway to a brighter future. Thomas has followed this philosophy on education and has used his high school career as an avenue to prepare and prove himself.
Thomas is involved in many activities within our school and community. School activities include; Varsity Football, Varsity Track, Varsity Tennis, Vice President of the National Honor Society, Reading Buddies, Boys State Representative, Math Tutoring and Mathletics. Community activities include; Vice President of Christ Church United Methodist Youth group, Professional ski instructor of America Certified level 1 at Snow Ridge, Relay for Life participant, volunteer at Utica Eastside Mission, Red Cross blood drives and Trick or Treat at UNICEF.
