A Grammy-winning singer will perform the National Anthem at Sunday's Big Race.
Christian singer Sandi Patty will set a record when she takes part in the race's opening ceremonies for a record sixth time.
Patty is a long-time resident of Anderson, Indiana, who last sang the National Anthem at The Big Race in 1992. Her other performances were in 1991, 1990, 1988 and 1987.
Patty says she's trilled to once again participate in the event that showcases Indianapolis as one of the best cities in the world.
