Jazz waive Paul Harris

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - The Utah Jazz have waived forward Ronald Dupree and guard Paul Harris.

Harris was an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse who did not play in the preseason because of a sprained right ankle which he injured before training camp.

Dupree has played in 154 regular season NBA games with Chicago, Detroit, Minnesota and Seattle. He played in seven preseason games for the Jazz, averaging 3.4 points and 1.6 rebounds.

The cuts Thursday trimmed Utah's roster to 14, including three who are out with injuries. Shooting guard C.J. Miles had surgery to repair a ruptured ligament in his left thumb two weeks ago and forward Matt Harpring is still bothered from an infection that developed after surgery on his right ankle in the summer of 2008.
