Desperate Housewives alum Brenda Strong has landed guest-starring role on the Shonda Rhimes' political fixer drama, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively.
Scandal's Shonda Rhimes on Season 2's Big Mystery: Who is Quinn Perkins?
Strong, best known for being the voice of Wisteria Lane and for her recent turn on the Dallas reboot, will play Joan Reston, the wife of a governor.
The Emmy nominee, whose credits also include Everwood, 7th Heaven and Rizzoli & Isles, is slated to appear in at least one episode of the second season, which debuts Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10/9c on ABC.
