17-year-old accused of robbing Syracuse bank
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) -- A Syracuse teenager has been charged in connection with a bank robbery.
Police have charged 17-year-old Cheyenne Brandon with robbery in the first degree. She’s accused of robbing the Alliance Bank, located at 1001 James Street, Wednesday morning.
Police say Brandon entered the bank and threatened the use of a weapon. However, police say no weapon was ever seen.
Brandon allegedly fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. She was later located by police and was still in possession of the money.
Brandon is scheduled to arraigned in Syracuse City Court on Thursday.
