2 Syracuse teens arrested after allegedly trying to rob a man using a rifle
Syracuse (WSYR-TV) – Two Syracuse teenagers have been accused of trying to rob a man on Hawley Avenue on Tuesday evening.
According to police Jesse Reynolds and Malik Lang, both 16, used a rifle to try to rob a 42-year-old victim on the 1100 block of Hawley Avenue in the city.
Police charged the pair with attempted robbery in the first degree, a felony, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor.
Lang was also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
They were jailed in the Justice Center.
No one was injured during the incident.
