Mexico (WSYR-TV) – Three Syracuse-area men were arrested on Sunday morning in connection to a robbery in the Oswego County town of Mexico.
According to the Oswego County Sheriff’s Office, the trio broke into a residence wearing ski masks and gloves.
One of the men allegedly attacked a male victim, wrestling him onto the porch. The others entered the residence from another entrance and stole what the Sheriff’s Office describes as a small amount of loose change.
After the men left the residence, a Phoenix Police Officer pulled them over and the Sheriff’s Office determined that they were the suspects in the break-in.
Ramon Lozano, 26, of 115 Clarence Ave., Syracuse; Cy Gibson, 26, of RR Box 2289, Nedrow; and Jacob Stanton, 19, of 608 Wolf St., Syracuse have been charged with burglary in the second degree and robbery in the second degree, both felonies.
They have also been charged with petit larceny and Stanton was charged with criminal impersonation,. The Sheriff’s Office also says that Stanton is charged with violating probation.
All three were arraigned in Town of Palermo Court and taken to the Oswego County Correctional Facility.
Lozano and Gibson were detained in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. Stanton was being held on $15,000 cash bail or $30,000 bond.
