CLAY, NY (WSYR-TV) - A tractor trailer crashed on 481 North and damaged a guardrail in the town of Clay on Saturday.

The road was shut down for several hours while crews repaired the guardrail on a bridge over the Oneida River.

The crash happened at 12:45 p.m.

The highway has since reopened.

Three people in the tractor-trailer were treated for minor injuries.

Traffic was backed up as cars were being diverted off the northbound side at the exit for Great Northern Mall.
