LEBANON, NY (WSYR-TV) - A seven-year-old girl is in serious condition after a crash Saturday afternoon in the town of Lebanon.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says Courtney Mills of Sherburne lost control of her car at the intersection of River and Chamberlain roads, due to slippery conditions.

As her vehicle went into the other lane, it was struck by another vehicle, injuring Mills' seven-year-old niece.

She was taken to Upstate University Hospital with internal injuries.

Mills and the other driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.

All were wearing seat belts.

Mills has been ticketed for failure to keep right.
