Syracuse (WSYR-TV) - A source close to the team tells NewsChannel 9's Steve Infanti that Arinze Onuaku will likely be available to play in the NCAA Tournament, after he had to be helped off the court during the Orange's game against the Hoyas. A final decision will be made after the results of Friday's MRI.

Onuaku hurt his right leg with 5:07 remaining. He landed awkwardly after trying to block Greg Monroe's shot down low. Whistled for a foul on the play, Onuaku grabbed his knee immediately and was tended to by medical staff and Coach Jim Boeheim before being helped off the court. He did not return.

X-rays of his leg were negative, and nothing is broken. Team Dr. Iriving Raphael believes Onuaku has injured his quad tendon, the same injury that the senior had surgery for in the offseason.
